ELEVEN MANNERS OF STYLE

 

 

 

 

In 2009, the partner I was living with abandoned me at an airport and I never saw them again. This trauma forced me to examine my attachments to the hearts I felt closest to and become more curious about the possible shapes of love and companionship. For this Polaroid series, I asked eleven humans I was in love with at the time to contort for me naked in their own beds.

 

You remind me of a trapezoid I'd like to know. It's only a matter of time before I propose you be impossibly flexible. Don't be sore. "You are what you love, not what loves you."
