DRIPPING WITH GOLD

 

 

 

 

This body of work emerged as a response to what I perceived as the fast-track success of artworks portraying young, beautiful, naked bodies. Simultaneously, I had discovered and was inspired by a book of Andy Warhol's, "Ladies & Gentlemen, Sex Parts and Torsos." I wanted to see what my version would look like. Each portrait was shot in my bedroom in Brooklyn, New York, 2007.
